Prior to pulling clients data into our software, we work with them to ensure their books are clean and will do an initial cleanup.
In order to best utilize the Kordis platform to make better decisions, it's important we have timely and accurate data from Quickbooks.
We work with pre-revenue startups to $50m businesses.
For companies that have an accounting and finance function the Kordis team + software act as an extension of the team and can fill in any missing pieces or supplement the existing team.
For clients that don’t have a finance team, we fill that void doing all of the accounting, invoicing, paying vendors, to CFO level analysis, modeling, and meetings.
We utilize retainer vs. hourly pricing. This approach ensures work is performed with success in mind, and without either party compelled to manage the clock on a month-in month-out basis.
Yes. There is a cleanup fee and if you’re interested in connecting a new system (non-financial) to the Kordis software there is an integration fee.
We communicate with clients via email, calls, text, and Zoom.
Our teams work hard to get caught up with your existing processes. We conduct a deep dive of your financial statements and chart of accounts to make sure we’re getting started on the right foot. Depending on the quality of the underlying financials, we’re cleaning them up and working with you to ensure the financials are segmented properly to make data-driven decisions. After this, we link your books to the Kordis software, walk-through how to use the software, and help you set up various forecast scenarios in Kordis
All good. We’ll lead the migration effort.
Kordis does all of its bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online because it offers a number of advantages:
Seamless tax prep. Virtually every tax preparer in the US knows how to work with QuickBooks. You’ll have the freedom to choose any tax preparer you want.
Industry standard. In addition to tax preparers, most other financial professionals (e.g., attorneys, bankers, and venture capitalists) all know how to work with QuickBooks. Again, this gives you the most freedom when making financial decisions.
Data portability. QuickBooks means you’re not locked in. If you ever decide to move on from Kordis, your data goes with you, in a format that is immediately useful.
Yes, we can help you transition your books over to QBO. As part of our onboarding process, we’ll make monthly journal entries in Quickbooks from your monthly account totals in Xero (for both the balance sheet and the P&L/income statement) going back to the beginning of the year.
